Everything here was absolutely amazing!! 10/10 recommend!! The food was delicious, the drinks were beautiful, and the service was outstanding! We had a burger, the hash, and the island breakfast! You have to go here!!

Maybe 45 minutes before closing, we entered to have a quick meal and were greeted politely without feeling rushed or not wanted but was only told that we might have to do our last call while ordering since it was so close to closing time which was perfectly fine. The server was great and did not make us feel rushed or uncomfortable. This was one of the best barbecue meals I have ever had in my life. The Kahlúa pork was perfectly cooked, and the truffle fries with garlic were perfectly seasoned. The ultimate burger was humongous and cooked perfectly as well. I usually do not like chili, but their chili was so delicious. The portion sizes were so big that food had to be taken to go. I will definitely come back again and it is a must when visiting. It is a very cute place with a bar downstairs and more seating upstairs being very cozy

First time here. Atmosphere- Table and chairs upstairs in the loft. Bar seats downstairs. Service - staff was really friendly and had great suggestions. Food- We both ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich with Truffle Fries. And a house made Lemonade. The Lemonade is very refreshing. Not super sweet, but just right. THE PRIME RIB SANDWICH WAS THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! Definitely my new lunch spot.

It has been a while since I've been here. I was actually going next door to get coffee, and do some work. But they were closed. After looking around, I was walking back to my car when I saw, "Happy Hour" "Martinis" So I went in. Friendly hello. Took a seat at the bar and said I was just going to have a drink. Ordered their house martini and it was good! The young woman who took care of me was great! We had a great conversation about Lauryn Hill. The happy hour menu looks great! Drinks and food specials. A great way to start your evening, or you can continue and stay for dinner. If I didn't already have plans I would've. The menu looks very tempting! Mahalo Surfing Pig! Next time I'm in the mood for coffee, I'll stop here!

As a local, this is now one of our go to places. DO NOT sleep on the Sriracha Fried Rice, it will change your life. We made a reservation for 7pm Saturday night on Saturday morning with no issues. Parking was easy, there was a metered lot behind the restaurant. When we arrived, we were seated up stairs. Clear dividers separate tables for safety and privacy. The space was comfortable and cool, music wasn't too loud and provided nice ambiance. We had the OBB with truffle fries (+4.95) and Truffle Garlic Lemon Salmon with Sriracha Fried Rice. The food came out in under 10 minutes. The burger was HUGE (tons of leftovers). Last time I came here, I had the Loco Moco (which was insane). The Sriracha Fried Rice is our new favorite on the island (!!) These guys are consistently great. Feel good local food made just a little fancy. Customer Service was incredible. The hostess opened the doors for us when entering and exiting. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The owner (I believe) came to our table to check in and thanked us for our business. Price was standard ($60 for dinner for two, not including tip). But for the amount and quality of the food, it's 100% worth it. We will be back and we're bringing the whole gang next time. Please support this local business, we need their fried rice forever.

So had a pretty extensive hiking day and decided we were going to "bulk back" up after the long refreshing day of enjoying nature on the island. Did a quick search and decided to book the Surfing Pig (without knowing it was affiliated with Konos). This joint is located a bit off the main tourism part of Honolulu so a car will be required (or uber). The joint has ample street parking so don't worry there. It is a two floor set up and the service was friendly from start to finish and loved the bar set up. They have brunch and also lunch/dinner setups along with a nice list of specialty/signature cocktails as well as wines and mocktails. After getting seated, decided to order the Loco Moco, the pork shoulder steak, the BBQ Mac and Cheese side, and then they had an awesome happy hour deal that allowed Truffle fries and two signature cocktails for a very nice price. The cocktails were good and just what I expected for a signature cocktail. The truffle fries were addictive... didn't mean to eat all of it but it was pretty darn tasty. The BBQ Mac and cheese was good. It was really interesting how they got that bbq flavor into it without overpowering it or making it too cheesy. Good interesting take on the traditional mac and cheese. The Loco Moco was unfortunately not our favorite. It was extremely salty so it was a tad disappointing. The Pork shoulder steak however was fantastic. The meat was tender and the bbq glaze was a nice compliment to the pork shoulder. All in all, a good experience and glad we tried it out and enjoyed the casual ambiance.

Located in Kaimuki, the Surfing Pig is a two story restaurant full of smoky drinks and meats! My friends and I enjoyed a great meal here. Service was excellent and all the staff was so friendly! We were seated upstairs and ordered everything family style. We started with cocktails. They have a few smoky drinks that are served covered in a lid that is lifted upon delivery and all the smoke pours out. They had great flavor and were so fun! For food, we ordered the ribs and a whole bunch of sides. The meat was tender and juicy. The truffle fries were a must and perfectly thin and crispy. I also really loved the buttery corn. The mashed potatoes were a little dry so they weren't quite my favorite. The mac n cheese was a very different style. It was very cheesy and thick. Tasty! We ended the meal with some dessert. I loved the lava cake. It was so decadent and delicious.

Went on a Monday night. We got greeted right up and got seated upstairs. It was nice and quiet at first bc there wasn't much people but there was a large group that were seated and the sound surrounded upstairs where we couldn't hear ourselves. Wow they weren't kidding when they said they give big portions. We ordered truffle fries, loco loco, smoke chicken, and the brisket burger. We could barely even eat half of everything. The service was good.

Flew into Hawaii for the first time and stumbled upon The Surfing Pig shortly after landing. We had originally planned to eat at Chubbies, but they weren't taking any new diners at 8:30 since they close at 9. We were invited in by their manager who noticed we were looking for someplace to eat. He was very nice and gave us a lot of useful information about the dining fare there. I'm a sucker for nice service staff, so I was hooked and convinced Bae to eat here. Bae was not happy, but I rather liked it! Everything was cold, especially the fries, and they tasted burnt and stale. I'm not a fry snob, but hopefully they get the hang of it soon. Other than that I liked the way the burger tasted, cold or not. Maybe it's supposed to be cold, like a chicken salad sandwich or something? Idk what to tell you, it worked for my palette lol just didn't like the fries. My guy said it tasted like they'd been sitting out for a few hours since it was close to closing. With that being said, I liked the Kalua pork sandwich and kept ordering it everywhere I went and always compared it to The Surfing Pig's because I really did enjoy it!
